gospel-changes-everything1. It may be the only time a teenager visits your group and hears the gospel (1 Corinthians 14:24.)

2. The same gospel that saves the unbelieving teens, sanctifies believing ones (1 Corinthians 1:18.)

3. “I preach the gospel to myself everyday because I forget it everyday.” (If it’s true of Luther its true of our teens!)

4. “I take my text and make a beeline for the cross.” Good enough for Spurgeon, good enough for me!

5. “For I resolved to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2.)

6. It supercharges the atmosphere and creates a climate of selflessness and excitement (Acts 4:31-33.)

7. It triggers spiritual warfare which always livens things up (Ephesians 6:10-12.)

8. It exponentially advances the kingdom of God and that’s why you got into youth ministry. Right? (Colossians 1:6.)

9. It heals the brokenhearted and hurting…which many of our teens are (Luke 4:18.)

10. It allows you and your teens an opportunity to taste and see God’s glory firsthand (2 Thessalonians 2:13,14.)
