“Dare 2 Share Ministries Intl. Announces New President Debbie Bresina

WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO – Dare 2 Share Ministries International (Dare 2 Share), the trusted leader in teen evangelism training, announced today the appointment of Debbie Bresina as Dare 2 Share’s President effective June 8, 2015. Debbie brings more than 20 years of ministry experience to her new role, having been with the organization since 1995, and most recently serving as the Executive Vice President of Ministry Advancement for the past 9 years. She also draws from over 20 years of marketing and business development experience that has enabled her to provide strategic planning and leadership development for Dare 2 Share.

Earlier this month, Dare 2 Share’s board of directors voted unanimously for the appointment in order to release Greg Stier, now titled Founder and CEO, to focus his energy on vision-casting and content creation for the many opportunities that God has provided for Dare 2 Share as they seek to recruit and mobilize 30,000 Gospel Advancing ministries in North America by 2025. Debbie will oversee the daily operational demands of the ministry and staff as well as continue to work closely with Greg to develop strategy for this mission.

Rick Montera, Chairman of the Board of Directors had this to say, “I am excited to announce the appointment of Debbie Bresina to the position of President of Dare 2 Share Ministries International. For the last twenty years Debbie has been working diligently to advance the Gospel to and through the next generation at Dare 2 Share and we are convinced she is the best person to fill this crucial role.”

Reflecting on her own tumultuous teenage years, Debbie shared, “I remember participating in a Dare 2 Share event as a volunteer back in 1993, wondering how my life would have been changed if only I’d received the motivation and training that Dare 2 Share provides.” She then adds, “Little did I know that when I started volunteering that I would end up assuming the role of President one day. Having successfully launched a marketing consulting business, my goal at the time was to donate a few hours a week to a worthy cause. But I quickly understood that this generation has the potential to impact the world for Jesus Christ and I wanted to contribute to that movement in any way that I could.”

Founder Greg Stier is confident in the board’s decision, stating, “I am thrilled that Debbie has agreed to be the President of Dare 2 Share. Her strategic insights, unparalleled work ethic and passion for God and people make her the ideal person to lead our ministry to accomplish the bold vision the Lord has given us.”

In addition to her work for Dare 2 Share, Debbie has served on various boards during the past two decades within the non-profit, Christian Ministry world, most recently with Student Impact (Campus Alliance) and also National Network of Youth Ministry.
