Praise God I made it to Phoenix. After being stuck in Chicago on Friday in some bad weather I thought there may be a good chance I wouldn’t make it into my second favorite sunny state (Colorado’s my first favorite, but I’m a little prejudice because it is my home!)
Over 4,000 teens were awaiting in the Dodge Theatre ready to get trained and equipped. There’s something about the Dodge Theatre that I love. It is an intimate setting where you feel like you are connecting with thousands of your friends in a living room sort of way.
Somewhere around a few hundred came to Christ on Friday night and 9 tons of canned food were collected on Saturday afternoon. The cell phone challenge went excellent as well.
