Just last week Jeremy and I were sitting down talking in a food joint and he launches into one of those out-of-the-blue random rants that can only come from the mind of a hyperactive, Jesus loving five year old (Jeremy…not me!) The conversation went something like…
Jeremy: “Hey Daddy, everyone in the world needs to hear about Jesus.”
Daddy: “You are right Jeremy. Everyone does need to hear that Jesus died for all their sins.”
Jeremy: “Daddy, YOU have got to tell them.”
Daddy: “I know son.”
Jeremy: “No, daddy, you have got to tell them ALL (emphasis his!) about Jesus.”
Daddy: “That’s a lot of people. I don’t think I can do it by myself. I need your help. Will you help your daddy tell them all Jeremy?”
Jeremy: “I’ll help you daddy!”
Guess what? As motivated as this 41 year old man is to share the gospel with everyone everywhere and as bold as my 5 year old son is to preach the good news to every person on the planet, we can’t reach them all alone. We need your help.
It doesn’t matter if you’re 5 years old or 85 years old (or somewhere in between) we have got to tell EVERYBODY (emphasis mine!) about Jesus and we have got to do it now.
