Last weekend I bumped into my friend Mark Matlock at Youth Specialties. I love the guy. In a ministry world full of plastic people with agendas and attitudes this dude is the real deal. He is creative, highly intelligent, honest and did I say creative?
Although sometimes both of us are running our own conferences in the same city on the same weekend we have a great relationship and pray for each other often. He is a true breath of fresh air in a pride polluted culture of (oftentimes) big headed ministry superstars.
All of us need friends and I’m glad that Mark is one of mine.
