Yesterday we wrapped up our 4th annual Certified Trainer Retreat held at The YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado with a full heart. We spent three days with 40+ youth leaders, lead pastors and regional denominational leaders who are passionate about the Gospel Advancing movement.
Andy McGowan and Tyree Sterling killed it as key-note speakers and the break out sessions were off the charts! These “CTs” left ready, willing and able to multiply the movement of teens reaching teenagers in their own communities!
One of my favorite moments was the final night when these amazing leaders branded their leather bound notebooks (yes, we ordered two custom made brands for this event!) The logo for the CT’s is an “X” because the role of a CT is to multiply Gospel Advancing leaders.
When Jesus told his disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations” he was branding this mission onto their hearts. He was marking them to multiply.
So, as the CT’s leaned into the brand for the 3-4 seconds it took to leave a permanent and clear mark, they spoke the words, “I’ve been marked to multiply!” It was an awesome moment!

As the cold wind swirled around us on that beautiful Rocky Mountain night, we were not only warmed by the fire, but also by the mission burning in our souls. That night sealed our Gospel Advancing commitment in a literal blaze of glory! That night all of us remembered that we were marked to multiply!
